Each therapist and counselor at The Center for Health and Healing practices privately and independently. By sharing resources collectively we are able to offer top-of-the-line services to you, including real-time online scheduling with email and/or text reminders, help with navigating in-network and out-of-network insurance reimbursements, a strong emphasis on confidentiality, and a warm and inviting office environment.
We offer several types of therapy and counseling services to New Orleans and have therapists located both Downtown near the Warehouse District/CBD and in Mid-City . Services range from those based in diagnosis and/or evaluation--such as what is required in order to submit claims to health insurers or to provide reports to other parties--to strengths-based, non-diagnostic and private counseling services including Individual Psychotherapy (one-on-one counseling), Couples Counseling and and Mediation Services, Art Therapy & Expressive Therapy, Life Coaching, Career Development Coaching, and counseling to meet the requirements of employers and academic institutions.
While our individual practice styles and specialties differ, we share in common our emphasis on collaborative and client-centered psychotherapy. We are each well-trained, fully licensed and skilled in working with a variety of treatment issues. We do have different specialties and recommend you select a therapist whose education and experience fits well with your needs. Please note that while we share office space, we each practice independently and our offices may be located at different addresses. As a group, our specialties include:
